    Two teenagers were rushed to University Medical Center in serious condition, that according to emergency dispatchers, who said they fell more than 12 feet from a ride at Saint Anthony's Bazaar on Sunday night.It happened shortly past 10 p.m.Dispatchers said firefighters also requested a ladder to rescue somebody stranded on the ride. The Crimes Against Children unit is investigating. There was no immediate indication from police of why that unit is involved.

    Beach-goers in Massachusetts were getting in some summer rays when everyone had to get out of the water. A State Police helicopter spotted a 14-foot great white shark swimming just 75 yards from shore, the area just past the buoys.It happened at Duxbury Beach, which isn't really a hot spot for sharks. There's been plenty of activity this summer there but not that close to shore. Swimmers had to stay out of the water for about two hours Monday.
