    The American Red Cross Palmetto SC Region deployed a disaster-trained volunteer today to assist with Red Cross’ relief efforts in Washington State where wildfires have already destroyed almost 300,000 acres. The Red Cross volunteer was deployed from the Coastal SC Chapter in Myrtle Beach to provide expertise in logistics management for the services Red Cross is providing in Washington State including sheltering, feeding, health and mental health services.

Reuben Long Detention Center at 4:55 a.m. She was charged with one count of disorderly conduct, according to the center's website. Franklin was issued a $280 bond.

(WBTW) - The Darlington County Coroner's and Sheriff's Offices investigate a man's death.Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says Eugene Leo William, 54, of Darlington, died when the backhoe he was operating flipped over.It happened around 3:30 Saturday afternoon at a home off of Pinedale Road in Darlington.An autopsy will be performed Sunday. An official cause of death is expected as early as Monday.
