    Two suspects broke into a house in Mechanicsville Friday morning. A female and child were inside the house. The child was shot and the female was struck.     Conway Police responded to a call for a shooting around 1:30 Friday morning along the 2500 block of Oak St in Conway which is North Oak Apartments. Lt. Selena Small tells News13 when they arrived they located a victim who had been assaulted but he was not shot. The victim told police shots were fired but he was not shot. Conway Police are working to get a description of the suspect and possible motive.

    Horry County Police hosted its annual fundraiser Thursday to raise money for the Special Olympics.The three-day campaign started Thursday with a donut-eating contest.All competitors had five minutes to knock back some Krispy Kreme donuts.Whoever ate the most won!The winner is Cody Burroughs with the Horry County Police Department. He ate 12 donuts in just over 3 minutes. Anyone who donates $20 will get a 2014 law enforcement torch run t-shirt.
