Horry County Police respond to two Friday shootings

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) Horry County Police officers responded to two separate shooting incidents on Friday.

At about 8:00 p.m. on Friday HCPD Officers responded to a residence on Olive Drive in Green Sea in reference to a shooting complaint.

The victim says when she got home she was told by her neighbor that her house was "shot up". Officers located holes through the exterior and bullets inside the home.

The shooting is thought to have occurred between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

No one was injured during this incident.

This is the second shooting in two days on Olive Street in Green Sea. Lt. Denis says they do not know whether the two different incidents are connected.

HCPD Officers responded to another shooting in Conway around 8 p.m. Friday.

Lt. Denis says the 25 year old male victim reported that, after an argument in the drive-thru of Burger King in Conway, he followed the other party's vehicle to the area of D Street and Rose Moss Road.

The victim said as he passed the other vehicle he was shot once, through the door, and struck in the leg. The suspect vehicle is described as a silver/green SUV.   The victim was treated at the local hospital and is expected to recover from his wound.
