    A Boynton Beach, Florida woman is accused of animal abuse. Officers were called out to Andrea Curiel's home two weeks ago where they discovered her dog with duct tape wrapped around its mouth. It also was in a very small cage that was not cleaned according to authorities. Apparently she told police she taped the dog's mouth shut because she was afraid managers at the apartment complex would hear it barking. Police said Curiel told them she meant to clean the dog's cage but was running late. ...

    A Former Kentucky postal worker was sentenced to six months in federal prison for failing to deliver about 45,000 pieces of mail. Brent Morse stored the mail at his late mother's home and in rented storage facilities near his home and mail route in western Kentucky. A US Attorney said most of the mail was meant for about 250 homes in the Dawson Springs community over two years. On Jan. 24 deputies arrested Franklin Maurice Davis, 33, of Winston Salem, N.C. for public disorderly conduct.

On Jan. 26 officers arrested Nelson Davis, 35, of Mullins for disorderly conduct.
On Jan. 28 officer arrested Patrick Frazier, 28, of Gresham for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Jan. 28 officer arrested Barry Rembert, 42, of Mullins for petit larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.
On Jan. 29 officer arrested Thomas Alston, 52, of Mullins for public disorderly conduct/public drunk.
On Jan. 29 officers arrested Michael Ferguson, 34, of Mullins for criminal domestic violence high and aggravated nature and disorderly conduct.
On Jan. 30 officers arrested Keith Moody, 36, of Mullins for disorderly conduct, threatening a public official, and a bench warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple assault and battery.
