    Greenville Police released information Tuesday that 59 people were arrested in a four day long prostitution sting.  Of the 59 people 33 of them were "Johns", 25 were prostitutes, and one was arrested as a pimp for aiding and abetting.

    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says a St. Lucie County man was caught with nearly 300 stolen sea turtle eggs.The FWC says they received a tip the man was on Diamond Sands beach taking the eggs. Officers responded to discover a disturbed sea turtle nest and 55-year-old James Odel McGriff of Riviera Beach to have a total of 299 eggs in his backpack. CONWAY, S.C. -

Conway Police have charged Rashad Derller Burroughs, 19, of Conway with murder and two counts and attempted murder in connection with a shooting that occurred on Monday, January 7, at 2:36 p.m. in the Sugar Hill Community of Conway. 

 Burroughs was arrested without incident Monday evening and was transported to the Horry County Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing.

On Monday, January 07, 2013, 2:36 p.m., Conway Police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2000 block of 6th Avenue in reference to a shooting.  Upon arrival officers located two male victims, one on the ground outside of the residence and another inside of the residence.

Both victims were transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment.  One victim received a non-life threatening gun shot wound to the lower extremities, was treated and released.  The other victim died the following day as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.

The case remains under investigation at this time and Conway Police are requesting anyone with information to please call 843-248-1790.
