CHARLOTTE, NC - A former Miss Lumbee is moving forward with her lawsuit that claims she was sexually harassed by her boss at the Lumbee housing authority.

Attorney Joshua Van Kampen told WBTV in Charlotte that he expects a lawsuit filed by Miss Lumbee 2008 Ashley Haywood against the Lumbee Tribe to go to court in the next 30 days.

Haywood said her boss, Reverend Jimmy Hunt, made sexual advances and made sexual comments to her while working at the tribal housing authority, the TV station reported.

The tribe wants the judge to hear the case in Robeson County.
