GREENVILLE, SC -

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said have found the  car and driver involved in a hit and run crash that killed two people on Sunday night.

The victims were not wearing helmets when they were struck on a motorcycle about 10:30 p.m. on Woodside Drive and 7th Street in Greenville County. A 32-year-old man and his 12-year-old step son were both thrown from the motorcycle.

At a news conference Tuesday, troopers said officials found the suspect vehicle and arrested the driver.

He has been identified as 54-year-old Gordon Owens.  Owens is charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an accident involving death.

A bond hearing is set for Tuesday night.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office says that Robert Austin Blackstone died on the scene and his stepson Timothy James Rowland was taken to the hospital where he died. Investigators say the car that hit the motorcycle left the scene of the accident.

Blackstone was a self-employed mechanic and a member of Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship.

Visitation for the father and son will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

The funeral service for both will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. The family will be at the residence.
