(WBTW) - The City of Mullins Police Department investigates a stabbing death that happened Saturday night.Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson says Raymond Legette, of Mullins, died at Carolinas Hospital, in Marion, around 8:45 p.m. Richardson says Legette was stabbed.He says Legette's wife witnessed the stabbing and the suspect has been arrested.

(WBTW) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol investigates a deadly crash in Florence County.Troopers say it happened around 11:45 p.m. Saturday night.Sergeant Bob Beres, with SCHP, says the driver of a 1999Mercury was traveling south on Secondary 145, also known as Darlington Street, near Timmsonville, when he or she drove off the left side of the road and hit the trees.The driver died. The Florence County Coroner's Office has not released the victim's name.

LUMBERTON, N.C. -

Eagles Landing Restaurants, operating several IHOP 24-Hour restaurants in

North and South Carolina, held a Ground Breaking Ceremony at the site of the new Lumberton,

NC, IHOP Family Restaurant to be constructed at 4470 Kahn Drive.

The new state-of-the-art IHOP Restaurant will require the construction of a 5,000 sq. building.

Construction is scheduled to begin immediately and should be completed for a public opening in mid-September 2013.

The 190 seat restaurant will operate 24 hours and will stay open year round, including all holidays. The new restaurant will initially employ about 150 personnel, mostly hired from the Lumberton and Robeson County area.

"We are excited to make this commitment to the community of Lumberton." Said President and CEO of Eagles Landing Restaurants, Mohamed Makawi. "Not only will this be an asset for the people of Lumberton, but will draw interstate business from the I-95 Corridor, which is adjacent to the site of the new Lumberton IHOP."

Eagles Landing Restaurants has operated IHOP restaurants for over 15 years and is headquartered in Florence.

IHOP Familly Restaurants has been in business for over 53 years and has evolved beyond that of a breakfast house, with an extensive menu that not only includes an array of its famous pancakes, waffles and egg entrees, as well as large variety lunch and dinner selections. The new Lumberton IHOP Family Restaurant will offer special menu items for Seniors 55+, as well as a Kid's Eat
