    Greenville Police released information Tuesday that 59 people were arrested in a four day long prostitution sting.  Of the 59 people 33 of them were "Johns", 25 were prostitutes, and one was arrested as a pimp for aiding and abetting.

    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says a St. Lucie County man was caught with nearly 300 stolen sea turtle eggs.The FWC says they received a tip the man was on Diamond Sands beach taking the eggs. Officers responded to discover a disturbed sea turtle nest and 55-year-old James Odel McGriff of Riviera Beach to have a total of 299 eggs in his backpack. MORRISVILLE, N.C. -

A flight made an emergency landing at RDU Thursday afternoon, according to a spokeswoman for the airport.

American Eagle flight 3419 landed safely at RDU around 3:20 p.m., said Mindy Hamlin, spokesperson for RDU International. The flight took off from Atlanta and was scheduled to land at New York LaGuardia.

American Airlines said a warning light in the cockpit prompted the response. Mechanics are checking the plane to see if it is safe to continue flying or if a new plane is needed.

Four crew members and 54 passengers were on board the flight, an American Airlines spokesperson said.

The flight was canceled just after 6:45 p.m. stranding passengers at RDU. Most passengers will stay overnight with accommodations provided by American Airlines. The airline said a new flight to New York will depart in the morning.
