GOLDSBORO, N.C. -

A registered sex offender and another man are in the Wayne County Jail after police say a 14-year-old girl was found in bed with the two men by her mother and grandmother.

Daryl Lynwood Locklear, 31, and Joseph Carl Thomas, 32, were arrested Saturday in Goldsboro after police say they were discovered in bed with a 14-year-old girl.

The mother told the responding officers that she and the teen's grandmother discovered her in bed with two men, later identified as Locklear and Thomas. Both men were still at the home when officers arrived.

Locklear, who is a registered sex offender, was charged with Statutory Rape of a Person Who is 13, 14 or 15 Years Old by a Defendant Who Is at Least Six Years Older Than the Victim and was placed into the Wayne County Jail in lieu of a $500,000 secured bond.
