THE BLITZ (WBTW) -- News13 and The Carolina Chevy Dealers of the Carolinas visited Hartsville and Myrtle Beach high schools on Thursday to present a pair of awards for deserving high school football players.

In the Pee Dee, Hartsville's Brian Rivers was named The Carolina Chevy Dealers Pee Dee Player of the Week for his role in the Red Foxes 41-6 win over Camden on Friday. Rivers racked up over 200-rushing yards and five touchdowns in the blowout win.

In the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach sophomore Brandon Sinclair rumbled his way to the Carolina Chevy Dealers Player of the Week award with a trio of touchdowns and more than 200 rushing yards in the Seahawks 42-21 win over West Florence.
