MYRTLE BEACH, SC - One Myrtle Beach business aims to help other businesses grow. Cowork MYR is a place for entrepreneurs to meet and share ideas.

On Thursday, the agency held a ribbon cutting for the company "ADA Approved", the group makes sure businesses are handicapped accessible and meet the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Cowork MYR serves a place to connect business owners with the services they need to grow.

"We come with ideas but didn't know how to bring them to fruition" said Walt Sagun, owner ADA Approved. " We came to Cowork MYR and the tech guys helped bring our ideas to reality".

Barb Royal came to Myrtle Beach with an idea for a new business called Kids Can Give Too!

" It is an opportunity for parents to host a birthday party for their kids but what is unique is that the party provides an opportunity for kids to raise money for charity" said Royal

In order to make her business plan a reality, Royal went to Cowork MYR.

"We are a co-working space that helps bring consultants, technology enthusiasts and entrepreneurs together to build new businesses and help strengthen existing businesses" said Mike Schroll, with Cowork MYR

Business owners hope the connections made at Cowork MYR help more companies grow and provide more services to the community. Cowork MYR has about 25 active members.
