    A Boynton Beach, Florida woman is accused of animal abuse. Officers were called out to Andrea Curiel's home two weeks ago where they discovered her dog with duct tape wrapped around its mouth. It also was in a very small cage that was not cleaned according to authorities. Apparently she told police she taped the dog's mouth shut because she was afraid managers at the apartment complex would hear it barking. RALEIGH, N.C. - Two men have been arrested and now face methamphetamine-related charges after being stopped for a window tint violation in Wake County Monday evening.

A Wake County Sheriff's Deputy stopped Russell Carmona and his passenger Brayn Acosta at approximately 5 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2013 for a window tint violation. During the investigation, the smell of marijuana was detected from inside the car and a drug team was called to the scene to investigate.

Dogs sniffed the car and detected narcotics inside. Deputies searched the car and found 47 soda bottles in the backseat that were filled with a liquid that tested positive for liquid methamphetamine. The bottles weighed approximately 81 pounds with an estimated street value of $10 million.

Carmona was charged with trafficking methamphetamine by transportation, trafficking methamphetamine by possession, conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, maintaining controlled substance in a vehicle and was also served with an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.

Acosta attempted to flee the scene on foot during the arrest which resulted in non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to WakeMed and was charged with trafficking methamphetamine by transportation, trafficking methamphetamine by possession, conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine and resisting, obstructing and delaying a public official.

Both Carmona and Acosta are being held in Wake County Jail. Carmona under $500,000 bond and Acosta under $1 million bond.
