    A Boynton Beach, Florida woman is accused of animal abuse. Officers were called out to Andrea Curiel's home two weeks ago where they discovered her dog with duct tape wrapped around its mouth. It also was in a very small cage that was not cleaned according to authorities. Apparently she told police she taped the dog's mouth shut because she was afraid managers at the apartment complex would hear it barking. Police said Curiel told them she meant to clean the dog's cage but was running late. ...

Brent Morse stored the mail at his late mother's home and in rented storage facilities near his home and mail route in western Kentucky. A US Attorney said most of the mail was meant for about 250 homes in the Dawson Springs community over two years. RALEIGH, N.C. -

Two people died in Raleigh Friday night when their car ran off the road and hit a tree, according to authorities. 

Raleigh police officers responded to the 1400 block of Lynn Road at 7 p.m. Friday night when witnesses called in the crash.

Onlookers told police they believe the driver of the vehicle was speeding, lost control, ran off the road and then struck the tree.

Police said the tree split the vehicle in half, killing both the driver and the passenger in the car.

The victim's identities are not being released right now. The investigation is ongoing.
