    There are reports of a possible tornado that toucheddown at a campground located at the southern tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore. The Cherrystone Family Camping RV Resort near Cape Charles has extensive damage.The National Weather Service radarshowed awaterspout over the Chesapeake Bay shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday forcing an alert to be issued.It's unclear of the extent of injuries. Some media outlets reported deaths but those are not confirmed.

At least four cars were heavily damaged with parts scattered about the used car lot.No word on exactly how much monetary damage was done butat least two cars had sticker prices for $2,995, and another one for$3,695. South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene. No word on whether or not anyone was injured or arrested.

SOCASTEE, SC -

A crash involving a tractor trailer closed parts of SC 544 near SC 31 for several hours on Thursday.

The crash happened around 12:30 pm on SC 544 and at least one person was hurt, the SC Highway Patrol said.

A burgundy Chevrolet Silverado pickup appears to have collided with an 18-wheeler, which was in a jack-knifed position after the wreck.

Lanes heading west on SC 544 were closed after the wreck until about 4 pm.

As of 4:25 pm, all traffic in the area appears to be moving with few problems, according to SC traffic data.

Another crash happened on US 501 also heading toward Conway at SC 31 about 45 minutes after the crash on SC 544.
