BLOUNT COUNTY, AL - A Susan Moore High School teacher has been charged with transmitting obscene material to a child by computer.

Crystal Gilliland Clowdus, 32, surrendered to the Blount County Correctional Facility this afternoon, where she's being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Clowdus has been on paid administrative leave since Monday.

The same school confirmed today that a second teacher is on paid administrative leave and is under investigation.

Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey told Alabama's 13 Wednesday that the teacher was accused of sending nude photos and inappropriate text messages to a student. She also said school officials knew about the incident for a week before notifying law enforcement, and is asking the Alabama Bureau of Investigation to look into the situation.

Another teacher from Susan Moore was put on paid administrative leave within the last two days for a "classroom complaint" involving a student.
