    An Oklahoma woman survived eight days in her car after it went down an embankment into a muddy ditch. Kay Springer was out running errands when she became disoriented. GOLDSBORO, N.C. - The Goldsboro Police Department says they’ve arrested two men for the shooting death of a man.

They say on Friday December 27, 2013 at 12:10 p.m. they responded to the 700 Block of North Virginia Street regarding a subject being shot.  The deceased subject was identified as 42-year-old Tony Jermaine Lewis of  W. Grantham Street in Goldsboro. 

Police say on Monday December 30, 2013, murder warrants were secured on Jaquan Amand Dennis and Nebraska Raheem Best, charging them with the shooting death of Mr. Lewis. Mr. Dennis, 21, was arrested at a residence in the 400 block of W. Grantham Street without incident.  Mr. Dennis was placed in the Wayne County Jail under no bond pending a first appearance scheduled for 12-31-13. Best, 23, was arrested at a residence in the 100 block of Ervin Drive without incident.  Mr. Best was placed in the Wayne County Jail under no bond pending a first appearance scheduled for 12-31-13.
