    Just after 11:30 Tuesday morning a beach walker spotted a body on the beach and called authorities. Murrells Inlet Garden City Fire was notified by Georgetown County Sheriffs’s Office. Assistant Chief J.R. Haney with MIGCF tells News13 there's no word whether it's a man or a woman or how the person died. At this point point, there'salso no details if it was a natural death or foul play.News13 will bring you updates asthey become available.

DILLON, S.C. (AP) -

An employee of South Carolina's environmental agency is in a coma after he was attacked by a two pit bull dogs in Dillon County.

Sheriff's Capt. Cliff Arnett says an employee of the Department of Health and Environmental Control was working in a rural area Tuesday when he encountered the dogs.

The man managed to call 911. He is listed in critical condition in a hospital. A family member says he has been put into a medically induced coma. The man's name has not been released.

Deputies shot the dogs and will test them for rabies.
