    South Carolina State Troopers are on scene of a crash on Peachtree Road not quite a mile fromthe intersection ofDick PondRoad. The road is closed temporarily and traffic is being rerouted while the investigation and cleanup continues. This was a one car wreck and the driver was taken to an area hospital. Corporal Sonny Collins with the SC Highway Patrol tells News13 the car overturned, but no word as to what caused it.

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -

The Florence County Coroner's Office and Sheriff's Office investigate the death of an inmate at the Florence County Detention Center. 

A correctional officer found Tavar Peoples, 24, of Effingham, dead in his cell at 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning. First responders took Peoples to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

He will undergo an autopsy Monday morning at MUSC. 

According to Peoples' most recent booking at the jail, he's charged with various crimes like breach of peace, failure to appear, and drug possession.
