Shreveport, LA -

Traffic had to be diverted Tuesday morning while crews cleaned up corn dogs scattered on the I-220 bridge over I-20 in Shreveport. An 18-wheeler carrying a load of corn dogs overturned around 3:30 in the morning. Authorities say it appears the driver overcorrected his rig, flipped, and spilled his load of corn dogs. The driver was not hurt.

The hundreds of boxes of Foster Farm brand corn dogs containing about 76,000 of the deep fried snacks, won't make it to California as planned.  Tow trucks worked to right the rig and clean up the mess. A giant dumpster was brought in to retrieve the frozen dogs from the roadway.
