    The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened in Horry County on Tuesday afternoon.The crash happened at 12:53 pm on the SC Highway 9 bypass at Log Cabin Road, the SC Highway Patrol said.

A crash in Darlington County Monday morning, killed the driver of an 18-wheeler.

It happened along the eastbound lanes of I-20 near mile marker 131 where Highway 403 passes over I-20. 

The State Highway Patrol said the driver of the tractor trailer veered into the median and hit a pillar of the bridge. The driver died. No cars were involved.

Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee has identified the victim as Diamond J. Hill, 22, from Macon, Georgia.

This incident is still under investigation by the Darlington County Coroner's Office and SC Highway patrol.
