GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -

The Georgetown Sheriff's office released dash cam video of when a man allegedly stole a patrol car and led deputies on a chase last week.

That chase started on March 30, when deputies tried to arrest a man along highway 17 in Murrells Inlet.

The man gained access to the patrol car driving the vehicle more than 100 miles an hour.

The chase covered some 50 miles ending near Tabor City where the North Carolina Highway patrol stopped and arrested him.

WBTW has the entire chase video that lasts about 1 hour and 12 minutes.

The suspect is Camilo Diaz, 35, of Surfside Beach.

He is charged with grand larceny and failure to stop for blue lights.
