Ashley Hendricks is elated to have joined News13 as a Multimedia Journalist in April of 2020.
She’s a proud graduate of the illustrious Hampton University – her “Home By The Sea” – where she earned her degree in journalism. Ashley started her career as a Promotions Assistant at iHeartMedia, Inc. in Norfolk, VA.
She later moved back home to North Carolina where she taught English for middle and high school students for nearly 2 years.
Her destiny continued to guide her to WRAL-News in Raleigh where she worked as a News Production Assistant. While there she continued to shape her journalism skills, which landed her at News13 – her new home by the sea.
