Ben Hestad joined the News13 team in November 2021.
He previously freelanced for various entertainment and gaming websites before switching gears to Broadcast Journalism. He attends Coastal Carolina University and plans to graduate in May 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism.
Ben has lived in Horry County for about 10 years, but is originally from New England. He is a big fan of video games and binge watching all the latest shows.
