Braley Dodson joined News13 as a digital producer in October 2020.
With roots in print journalism, she has won numerous, regional awards for her work on educational accountability, abuse of police records, the LGBTQ community and issues surrounding those with disabilities. She has previously worked for news outlets in the Midwest and most recently Utah, where she covered one of the nation’s largest school districts. Dodson graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in contemporary media and journalism, and after writing a thesis on Savannah, Georgia’s ghost stories.
A Utah girl at heart, she is a quasi-retired competitive fencer who has transitioned into a marathoner, avid backpacker and shameless reality tv fanatic.
