Dennis Bright joined the News13 Digital team in May 2021.
He previously worked at WTAP Television in Parkersburg, West Virginia, as an executive producer and assignment editor. Before that, he worked on the news copy desk at the Columbus Dispatch in Columbus, Ohio, for about 15 years, and as a copy editor/page designer/sports reporter and columnist at the Parkersburg News and Sentinel. He has won numerous newspaper awards from the West Virginia Press Association.
Dennis is a West Virginia native and a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where he studied both print and broadcast journalism.
He is a die-hard fan of the Thundering Herd, Pittsburgh Pirates and Columbus Blue Jackets.
