Gracie Fusco joined the News 13 team in June 2023 as a multimedia journalist.
Gracie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in May 2023 on a full scholarship with a bachelor’s degree in News Media and a minor in Communication Studies.
Gracie is from Ohio where she enjoyed competitive dancing from a young age, receiving five National Dance Scholarships and numerous individual and team awards.
She also competed for many years in scholarship pageants where she earned multiple state, national and international titles!
Most importantly, Gracie loves giving back to her community! She has been honored with the Gold Presidential Service Award for five years in a row.
Gracie would love to get involved here in beautiful Myrtle Beach, which she now proudly calls home!
While at the University of Alabama, Gracie worked at WVUA 23 News — a professional commercial television station in the nation’s top 40 market, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, as a multimedia journalist, editor and production intern.
In her free time, Gracie plans on taking up golf with the many amazing courses in the area! She enjoys exercising, shopping, spending time by the beach and watching the beautiful South Carolina sunsets!
Gracie is honored to be one of the newest members of the WBTW News 13 team!
