Julia Kennedy joined the News13 team in September 2022 as a multimedia journalist and producer.
She graduated from Miami University in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Leadership and Management.
Julia is originally from Brighton, Michigan.
During her time at Miami University, she was a four-year athlete for the women’s softball team. Julia was a three-time regular season conference champion and a conference tournament champion. In addition to being a collegiate athlete, she spent her time as a sideline reporter on ESPN+ and ESPN3 for men’s and women’s college basketball and in-game host for the men’s ice hockey games.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys going to the beach and is excited to improve her golf game in Myrtle Beach.
