Julie Calhoun is a Savannah native and proud Georgia Bulldog. She joined the WBTW in April 2018, and reports during the week.
Before moving to the Grand Strand, she reported in Augusta, Ga. and Oklahoma City. She’s reported on several national stories including the Charleston church shooting. She has done live reports for national networks covering tornado damage, and a week-long nationwide manhunt. She thrives on uncovering news and sharing stories about amazing people in the community.
Julie graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013, with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
She’s excited to be back on the coast, and in her off time you can find her at the beach with her dogs. She enjoys fitness, being active, and exploring what her new home has to offer.
