Melissa Meyers joined the News13 team in June 2021 as a photographer and multimedia journalist.
She graduated from Kent State University May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
Melissa is originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., but has been visiting the Myrtle Beach area since she was a kid. She is thrilled to now call it home.
She interned at WKSU radio during her time at Kent State while also working for her university’s television station, TV2 News.
When she isn’t at work, Melissa loves to hang out at the beach and shop at the Market Common.
