Florence police respond to robbery at convenience store early Sunday morning

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Police in Florence responded to an armed robbery early Sunday morning at a convenience store.

Lt. Brandt with Florence police confirmed to News13 the robbery happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday at the Circle K convenience store on the 700 block of South Cashua Street.

A masked man entered the store with a gun, demanding money out of the register, according to a press release. He ended up fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, the release continued.

No one was hurt in this incident.

The robbery remains under investigation by Florence police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Florence PD at 843-665-3191
