Arrest made after social media threats against the Florence Center

The Florence Police Department has made an arrest after threats were made against the Florence Center on Friday. 

In a press release, Florence police say officers received information about social media posts threatening violence at the Florence Center. After an investigation, police arrested Tyheim Nicholas Shackue Brown just after 6 p.m. Friday at Magnolia Mall. Brown is charged with unlawful communication. 

He was taken into custody without incident.
