DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Educators from across the Pee Dee met Saturday morning to make sure students know how to use the latest technology.
The Digital Transformation Conference was held for the second year at Darlington Middle School.
Teachers had the opportunity to learn more resources for their classrooms.
This year the focus is on twenty-first century digital technology.
School officials say the conference is an ideal opportunity for educators.
“So they’re learning to take the tools that are provided to them and use them in a way that changes learning, that makes students more responsible for their learning that engages them and creates that twenty first century learning that we’re looking for,” said Darlington County School District Technology Instructor Carla Jefferson.
Also this year, the conference opened up to other school districts in the Pee Dee.
