Deputies respond to armed robbery in Latta; victim reportedly forced inside home, bound by suspects

LATTA, SC (WBTW) – Deputies responded to an armed robbery in Latta on Friday.

Dillon County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to an armed robbery at a home on Bay Catfish Road on Friday, according to a press release from the DCSO. The victim reportedly stated that he was approached by three armed people at the back door of his house.

The victim was reportedly forced back inside the home and bound by the suspects during the incident, the release said. The victim reportedly freed himself and called for help, and the suspects allegedly took property from the home and fled.
