Emergency sirens heard near Hartsville nuclear plant, officials say no need to worry

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (WBTW) – People near the Robinson Nuclear Plant in Hartsville have reported hearing emergency sirens going off; but officials with the plant say there is nothing to worry about.

Duke Energy said while they have received word of the alarms, the plant is operating safely and there is no emergency at the plant.
