Florence Co. deputies search for suspects in tobacco and vape shop burglary investigation

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence County deputies are searching for suspects in a tobacco and vape shop burglary investigation.

A press release from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office said that “on or about” April 14 at around 5:57 a.m., deputies responded to a burglar alarm at the Tobacco and Vape store, located at 906 South Cashua Drive in Florence. Upon arriving, deputies discovered “that forcible entry had been made into the building and numerous items of inventory and currency had been removed.”

Store surveillance video reportedly shows three suspects entering the store and removing items, the release also said. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects or their locations is asked to contact the FCSO at 843-665-2121, ext. 468, Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at 1-888-CRIME-SC, or “Submit-A-Tip” on the FCSO free app for iPhone or Android telephones. You do not have to reveal your identity to leave information.
