Florence County deputy fired after being charged with domestic violence

FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) – A Florence County deputy was terminated from his employment Friday after facing charges of domestic violence.

Justin Lowry, 26, was fired from his position with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office after being charged by the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office with 2nd degree domestic violence.

According to arrest warrants, the charges against Lowry stem from an incident that occurred Thursday in Chesterfield County.
