A group of volunteers will feed people for one more day in the Socastee area.

On Tuesday, Congressman Tom Rice stopped by to thank them.

The “Mercy Chefs” and volunteers from Calvary Chapel have served two meals a day for nearly a month for flood victims.

Rice told WBTW News13 he wanted to show his support for the chefs before they move down to Florida to help people there after Hurricane Michael.
