The Barefoot General Store in North Myrtle Beach suffered some major damage from an overnight fire.

Multiple emergency agencies responded to the multi-alarm fire at the store in Barefoot Landing.

According to the North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue Twitter page, crews started battling the flames at around 11:30 Friday night.

More backup had to be requested because of the windy weather.

Crews were able to put out most of the fire by 2:00 Saturday morning.

Investigators will go back out Saturday morning.
