SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Crews are on scene after a car drove into a pond in Surfside Beach, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol website.

The car is in a pond near the Surfside Beach Recreation Department in the area of Clearwater Drive and Chandler Drive in the South Bay Lakes apartment/town home area. 

Horry County Fire Rescue confirms no one is in the car.
