Dangerous rip currents from Hurricane Sam expected through Sunday, Myrtle Beach Fire Department warns

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The Myrtle Beach Fire Department is warning beach-goers to expect dangerous rip currents throughout the weekend.

In a Twitter post, MBFD said peak ocean swells from Hurricane Sam are expected to be arriving on Saturday. That will result in dangerous rip currents through Sunday.
