HCFR: Brush fire in Nichols burns about a quarter-acre

NICHOLS, S.C. (WBTW) — A brush fire Saturday afternoon burned about a quarter-acre of land, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.

HCFR responded at 1:33 p.m. to the fire on Duford Road in Nichols. Firefighters put out the fire, and there were no injuries reported, HCFR said.

The Loris and Fair Bluff fire department assisted on the call. HCFR has not said how the fire started.
