MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach Police announced they they will not implement the Bikefest traffic loop on the final night of Bikefest in Myrtle Beach.

Myrtle Beach police spokesperson Capt. Joey Crosby said the 23-mile loop was shut down because traffic was moving fluidly along Ocean Boulevard, Sunday evening.

“The traffic diversion plan, commonly known as the traffic loop, will not be implemented tonight. Please use caution as you travel on the wet roadways tonight and have safe travels over the holiday weekend.” said Capt. Crosby.
