Top Priorities

News13 asked the newly-elected council members about their top priority. Here’s what they said:

David Pellegrino: “The number one is the budget which includes the pier. So with the budget cycle coming, up very important decisions on that, the biggest one being moving forward with the pier reconstruction.”

Bruce Dietrich: “A unified council. That was my big concern, my major concern coming into this. I’m very excited. I think once we unify council the rest is going to get pretty easy.”

Debbie Scoles: “The pier. I’m glad the present council made a decision to move forward with one-story buildings on the pier but to build it with enough reinforcement that in future years we could go up to two stories.”
