Man arrested in connection with 2018 New Year’s Day stabbing in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A man has been arrested in connection with a 2018 New Year’s Day stabbing in Myrtle Beach.

According to Cpl. Tom Vest, with the Myrtle Beach Police Department, Allen Robert Brown, was arrested in the case.

Brown has been charged with assault/attempted murder, according to Myrtle Beach booking records.

On January 1, 2018, police responded to SOHO on 21st Ave. N. for a fight, according to an incident report from the MBPD.  

A man later showed up to a hospital after reportedly being stabbed at SOHO, the report said. The victim reportedly had a severe laceration and blood was found at the scene.
