The Florence Police Department says the shooting happened around 3 a.m. Monday in the 400-block of Noble Street. Investigators say someone shot into a home several times and hurt a person inside.

Lt. Mike Brandt, spokesman for the department, said Lawand Tahlik Sellers was arrested in the 400-block of Gaillard Street.

Sellers faces seven counts of murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and discharging a firearm into a dwelling.

Brandt says Sellers also faces an additional third degree assault and battery charge. The charge is connected to an allegation that on February 13, Sellers shoved someone to the ground and threatened to shoot into their residence.
