One killed in motorcycle crash in Marlboro County

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was killed Wednesday in a motorcycle crash, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP).

The crash happened at about 4 p.m. on Delta Height Road near Dodge Street, according to troopers. A 2004 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling west on Delta Height Road when the driver ran off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail.

Troopers said the driver was ejected from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet. They died on scene. Their identity has not been released.
