Deputies request help in finding missing Marlboro County man who has dementia

Deputies with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office are requesting help from the public with finding a missing person who has dementia.

Deputies say Leroy Wright, 68, from Clio, left his home between 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday in his burgundy 2007 Nissan Titan. Wright’s vehicle has SC tags: JPL405. It is described as being a two-door burgundy truck with minor front end damage and a blue Highway Patrol sticker in the back windshield.

Wright was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes, and a navy blue Highland shirt.

Wright is about six feet tall and weighs around 240 pounds

He has ties to the Clio, Bennettsville and Cheraw communities.
