Florence City Firefighters battled a blaze outside a tire business in downtown Florence Friday evening. 

Florence City Fire Department Battalion Chief Chris Johnson tells us the fire was outside the Quality Tire Warehouse on South Irby Street. A pile of tires behind the building was on fire

The fire never reached the building. The cause of the fire has not been determined. 

No injuries have been reported from this fire.
